I was riding with some buddies of mine at the local OHV park doing hillclimbs. They have CRF450’s and a KX250 and I ride a CRF230. They were havin trouble making it up so about 3/4’s of the way up they would kick down to grab a lower gear and lose traction. So I gave it a try and after a couple of trys made it to the top.

I have been racing now for about 2 1/2 yrs. The dirtiest was the Iron City race. Mud covered my tires, the only thing that you could see were the whites of my eyes when I took my googles off. They could not even read our numbers as we were coming through the finish line. We would have to stop and tell the flagger our numbers! It was so bad…

A few weeks ago a local mini ATV rider was injured at a race and needed to have surgery on his arm. He was told he would be out 8 weeks or basically the rest of the season. Seeing he has been riding since he could practically walk this was certainly a blow to his season.
